ខួរក្បាល (Processor) របស់ស្មាតហ្វូនមួយគឺជាសមាសធាតុសំខាន់បំផុតមួយ។ ដំណើរការរបស់ Processor ជះឥទ្ធិពលដោយផ្ទាល់ទៅលើល្បឿនទូរស័ព្ទដំណើរការលេងហ្គេមបទពិសោធន៍អ្នកប្រើប្រាស់និងប្រសិទ្ធភាពថ្ម។
ទូរស័ព្ទចល័តដែលមានប្រព័ន្ធដំណើរការលឿននឹងដើម្បីបើកកម្មវិធីដែលអ្នកចូលចិត្តទាំងអស់ក្នុងមួយប៉ព្រិចភ្នែក ។ ប៉ុន្តែទូរស័ព្ទដែលមានប្រព័ន្ធដំណើរការខ្សោយជាងនេះនឹងបណ្តាលឱ្យមានបទពិសោធមិនល្អដល់អ្នកប្រើ ហើយអាចបណ្តាលឱ្យមានបញ្ហាដូចជា ការឡើងកំដៅខ្លាំង ភាពយឺតយ៉ាវ និងអាយុកាលថ្មខ្សោយ (ទោះបីជាវាមានសមត្ថភាពថ្មខ្ពស់ក៏ដោយ) ។

Centurion Mark មិនត្រឹមតែពិចារណាលើម៉ាកឈ្មោះផលិតផល ប៉ុណ្ណោះទេប៉ុន្តែថែមទាំងគិតពីដំណើរការរបស់ពិភពពិតផងដែរ។ នេះមិនត្រឹមតែធ្វើឱ្យវាមានភាពត្រឹមត្រូវខ្ពស់ប៉ុណ្ណោះទេប៉ុន្តែវាផ្តល់ភាពងាយស្រួលសម្រាប់អតិថិជនក្នុងការស្វែងយល់ពីប្រតិបត្តិការរបស់ទូរស័ព្ទដោយមិនចាំបាច់ចូលទៅក្នុងព័ត៌មានលម្អិតបច្ចេកទេស។
នៅខែធ្នូឆ្នាំ ២០២០ ដំណើរការទូរស័ព្ទចល័តល្អបំផុតគឺ Apple A14 Bionic ដែលផ្តល់ថាមពលដល់ iPhone 12 Lineup ។ ដំណើរការល្អបំផុតទី ២ គឺ Snapdragon 888 អមដោយ Samsung Exynos 2100, A13 Bionic និង Kirin 9000 ។
បន្ទាប់មកទៀតយើងមាន Exynos 1080, Kirin 9000E, Snapdragon 870/865 +, និង MediaTek Dimensity 1200 និង 1100។ Apple A12 Bionic គឺជា SOC ល្អបំផុតទី ១៤ ហើយវាល្អជាង Snapdragon 855+ ។
